With over 2,400 dead mostly women and children and many more left homeless and injured the mothers at the MOM workshop in Kabul are stitching warm clothes for the widowed mothers and their children impacted by the earthquake and other minorities fleeing violence in the country.
This scheme aimed at producing 5,000 jackets as a start at $10 per jacket will both give the mothers sewing them an income as well as the beneficiaries the warmth from the onset of winter.
Let us respond with this tremendous double benefit now and save lives from the bitter cold.
