LFT water Zanzibar – 12 new schemes initiated between Ashura and Arbaeen to serve approx 50,000 villagers

Whilst the water purification systems at the holy shrine of Imam Ali as in Najaf and the shrine of Imam Hussain as in Karbala are underway to generate an approximate 2,500,000 litres a day the generosity of our donors has enabled the LFT to initiate 12 nee water schemes on the islands of Unguja and Pemba in Zanzibar.

These will serve communities with fresh drinking water close to their homes schools and masajid.
