Emergency food supplies in Yemen

In Yemen where the relentless bombing and financial blockade continues, over 24 million people have been reduced to food dependence. The work of the LFT both in emergency food distribution, medical and educational support as well as microfinance opportunities such as the Al-Siddiqa bakery in Sanaa, continue to enable families to feel hope. We also continue to advocate a fairer assistance to families caught in the war in Yemen, particularly in light of recent government announcements of cuts to foreign aid.

This Ramadhan over 2,500 families in Sanaa, Hodeida and other parts of the country will receive a family food parcel to help alleviate their suffering. You too can join this rewarding opportunity by donating £45 for each family to receive sufficient groceries to look after them for the month.
