He suffered a fractured childhood as his parents divorced and consequently he had access to very few resources.
He works as a labourer in a plastics factory but unfortunately eight years ago, he severely damaged his hand in his work in a plastics factory.
Since then he was unable to secure any work opportunity.
Fortunately, Alaa was granted a baby girl after 18 years of marriage.
He felt sad for not being able to hear the voice of his child.
He sought LFTβs assistance for providing him with hearing aids.
His first words when he was fitted with hearing aids were: βI am happy that I will be able to hear the voice of my baby child whom I have praying to have long years ago. I feel hopeful againβ
Energised through these new found happiness in his life he now has a highly optimistic outlook and is renewing his skills be able to take up new employment opportunities.
